Vietjet Air Shuttle runs once every 30 minutes from 4:00 lớn 23:00. It doesn't run 24/7.

Thanks. That was false info then. I had thought that my hotel (I m a repeat customer) would know this.
Seems that the shuttle is only on the Vietnamese website. I failed lớn locate it on the English version.
Very helpful và you saved me some bad surprise và trouble.

sorry for asking this question: I tried the jetstar pacific airlines trang web in Vietnamese and used google translate to check for their shuttle service. Unfortunately, I did not succeed. Vị you have a liên kết for their shuttle service? It would be great. Much appreciated!

Yup, in HCMC I use the public bus which very good, cheap, và runs until about 1 AM or 1.30 AM. No problems there.
In Hanoi I take the public bus to lớn the airport for only 9000 dong when I have a late departure. Also a good service. Return I took last time the jetstar shuttle but it was much earlier in the day. The Vietjet shuttle was a 'real' bus and much better. So next time, when I can, Vietjet.

Mike: the Jetstar bus leaves Noi Bai airport 30 minutes after each flight.

Thanks again Khoi, you are very kind & patient. I checked the jetstar trang web which shows one domestic arrival for 0.25 AM on the date of my travel. I wont be able khổng lồ get from the international terminal lớn domestic in time. :((
If I may, bởi you have info on the Vietnam airlines shuttle service as well? I will get out of the International Terminal by about 1 AM, if the flight is on time (knocking on wood).

I m sitting in a Hanoi cafe, having good coffee and a very nice sandwich which means of course that I made to lớn town.
So here my experience of this morning. Cebu Pacific Air was in line with their general (un-)reliability late on both of my flights but I made by about 1 AM to lớn Hanoi airport. Flying through immigration was faster than placing an order in a fast food place & the official was very friendly despite the late/early hour. Outside I saw the back of the last (?) shuttle khổng lồ the domestic terminal. Private taxi drivers were preying on the arrivals but I had resigned lớn be stuck for a while (4 AM me thought) at the terminal. Well, not exactly.
I took quite a while for the next shuttle to lớn the domestic terminal. Stretching out the arrival area was no problem aside from an occasional taxi driver trying his (bad) luck. No worries whatsoever, not much noise. Very few, maybe 2, additional arrivals. No lady traveling alone would be concerned here. Very safe, clean etc. No coffee siêu thị open though :(.
The first available shuttle got me to lớn the domestic terminal by say 5.40 AM. On time for the 6 AM departure of bus 17 to lớn Long Bien/Old Quarter at 9000 dong.
Hanoians are hard working people and manage to produce a rush hour by 7 AM or earlier. So about 90 minutes for the trip. Lucky me, I was not born in Vietnam as I lượt thích to sleep quite a bit longer than all these school kids, workers etc do. Bus was not fancy but ok and reliable. No issues with luggage as I came on board at the starting point.
In sum, if you cant make it to the domestic terminal early enough you're stuck until around 5.30 và then transport to town from the domestic. On a second thought, there might have been an earlier lớn town shuttle dropping off passengers at departure. I did not kiểm tra but this might be a good idea.
Next time I will get myself a cheap airport hotel nearby. The experience was not too bad but also not one which I feel obliged khổng lồ repeat.
